Morning Service
Our 10.30am service is a relatively traditional type of morning worship lasting about an hour. Services are conducted either by our minister, one of the other Circuit ministers, a Methodist Local Preacher, or occasionally a guest preacher.
The children are always present at either the beginning or end of the service. In ‘all ages’ services there is more emphasis on music and drama involving them.
Our singing includes traditional hymns and more contemporary worship songs. Music is usually led on our fine organ but we also have a music group which includes adults and children.
We have a Crèche for the under fives, Junior Church for children between the ages of 5 and 11 and “6Up” for those who are in school year 6 or above.
Holy Communion is celebrated once a month.
Evening service
Evening services are only held on special occasions and for Circuit or Churches Together events. They will be shown in the calendar.
